Puncture resistance

Puncture resistance is a statistical rating, which shows how strong a material is mechanically using a pointed object. This test is carried out in accordance with ISO 17103:2009. This value is an indication of safe use and prevention of dangers in the use of machine in agriculture and forestry or in landscape gardening where rotating blades are used. The technical textiles from Mehler Texnologies for manufacturing protective cloths for agricultural machines (crop curtains) have be tested and certified by the German Agricultural Society (DLG).
